Did you know that according to UNESCO, women are 25% less likely than men to know how to leverage digital technology for basic uses?. In an era where AI is rapidly reshaping the labor market, closing this gap is no longer optional—it is an economic and social imperative.
Our new project, SheLeads, is tackling this challenge head-on. By focusing on the purposeful integration of AI and digital tools, we are helping young women develop the readiness and resilience needed for the modern workforce. We believe that by removing "technology-related fears" and providing hands-on guidance on AI tools for self-learning, we can boost career advancement and create new online business ventures.
Through the development of the SheLeads Guide, we are building the capacity of youth workers to act as mentors in this digital transition. It’s time to ensure that the digital decade is inclusive and that young women have the leadership, time management, and problem-solving skills to thrive.
