SheLeads aims to empower and support young people with emphasis on young women to boost their entrepreneurial, digital skills and competences with the use of Artificial Intelligence, and be in a better position to find good career opportunities and integrate into the labour market with the ultimate outcome of reducing young woman NEET unemployment.
Our Goals
• Build the capacity of 100 youth workers to support young people with focus on young women to boost their skills and competences for employment and entrepreneurship, through utilising digital tools, and AI tools
• Strengthen entrepreneurial skills of 170 young people, with focus on young women, on soft transferable skills, to better prepare them for the labour market
• Develop innovative quality resources for youth workers and young people to promote skills for employability and entrepreneurship
• Promote gender equality by employing gender-sensitive approaches
Target Group
Young women (18-29 years old) with emphasis on the following groups:
a)Young women NEET which includesunemployed women and chronically unemployed women,
b) young women who self-identify as low-skilled and/or have obtained low levels of education, or would like to strengthen their digital skills.Young women will participate in the Committee, Digital Escape Room and a workshop with trained youth workers, to support them in developing their digital and entrepreneurial skills which will be used to support them in finding employment.
The project team expects that 2000+ young women will be directly or indirectly reached throughout the project.
Youth workers/Organisations:
Youth workers, paid and volunteers, facilitate young people’s active participation andinclusion in their communities and in decision making (CoE, 2023). Within the context of this project, the youth workers offerinvaluable and multi-level support structures and guidance to young women. They are in direct contact with them and aidthem in assuming active participation in society and empower them to overcome challenges related to gender inequality andemployment opportunities. These are staff of the participating organisations working directly with young women, members of volunteer bodies in each participating country, and staff and volunteers of youth organisations, centers, youth councilsand CSOs.

Guide
Focused on enhancing the digital skills of young women and providing a foundational understanding ofthe use of AI-based tools for entrepreneurship and employability.
Digital Escape Rooms & OERs
Focused on strengthening soft, transferable skills for employability such as attention to detail, time management, problem solving, through utilising digital escape room challenges designed for this purpose.
Training Package for Youth Workers
Will provide hands-on opportunities for youth workers to improve their understanding in terms ofpromoting young women’ digital skills, employability support and understanding the societal barriers young women mayface.
